Proverbs 31:9

So David reigned over all Israel; and David administered justice and equity to all his people.


because I delivered the poor who cried, and the fatherless who had none to help him.


Give justice to the weak and the fatherless; maintain the right of the afflicted and the destitute.


It is an abomination to kings to do evil, for the throne is established by righteousness.


A king who sits on the throne of judgment winnows all evil with his eyes.


A righteous man knows the rights of the poor; a wicked man does not understand such knowledge.


learn to do good; seek justice, correct oppression; defend the fatherless, plead for the widow.


Your princes are rebels and companions of thieves. Every one loves a bribe and runs after gifts. They do not defend the fatherless, and the widow's cause does not come to them.


but with righteousness he shall judge the poor, and decide with equity for the meek of the earth; and he shall smite the earth with the rod of his mouth, and with the breath of his lips he shall slay the wicked.


O house of David! Thus says the Lord: “ ‘Execute justice in the morning, and deliver from the hand of the oppressor him who has been robbed, lest my wrath go forth like fire, and burn with none to quench it, because of your evil doings.’ ”


Thus says the Lord: Do justice and righteousness, and deliver from the hand of the oppressor him who has been robbed. And do no wrong or violence to the alien, the fatherless, and the widow, nor shed innocent blood in this place.


“Behold, the days are coming, says the Lord, when I will raise up for David a righteous Branch, and he shall reign as king and deal wisely, and shall execute justice and righteousness in the land.


they have grown fat and sleek. They know no bounds in deeds of wickedness; they judge not with justice the cause of the fatherless, to make it prosper, and they do not defend the rights of the needy.


Therefore, O king, let my counsel be acceptable to you; break off your sins by practicing righteousness, and your iniquities by showing mercy to the oppressed, that there may perhaps be a lengthening of your tranquillity.”


“You shall do no injustice in judgment; you shall not be partial to the poor or defer to the great, but in righteousness shall you judge your neighbor.


“Thus says the Lord of hosts, Render true judgments, show kindness and mercy each to his brother,

Do not judge by appearances, but judge with right judgment.”


And I charged your judges at that time, ‘Hear the cases between your brethren, and judge righteously between a man and his brother or the alien that is with him.


Thou hast loved righteousness and hated lawlessness; therefore God, thy God, has anointed thee with the oil of gladness beyond thy comrades.”


Then I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse! He who sat upon it is called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he judges and makes war.


And Jonathan spoke well of David to Saul his father, and said to him, “Let not the king sin against his servant David; because he has not sinned against you, and because his deeds have been of good service to you;


Then Jonathan answered Saul his father, “Why should he be put to death? What has he done?”
