He cuts out channels in the rocks, and his eye sees every precious thing.


He who winks the eye causes trouble, but he who boldly reproves makes peace.


The hand of the diligent will rule, while the slothful will be put to forced labor.


Do they not err that devise evil? Those who devise good meet loyalty and faithfulness.


The crown of the wise is their wisdom, but folly is the garland of fools.


He who tills his land will have plenty of bread, but he who follows worthless pursuits will have plenty of poverty.


What gain has the worker from his toil?


For a dream comes with much business, and a fool's voice with many words.


Do not labor for the food which perishes, but for the food which endures to eternal life, which the Son of man will give to you; for on him has God the Father set his seal.”
