And I will make of you a great nation, and I will bless you, and make your name great, so that you will be a blessing.


Now Abram was very rich in cattle, in silver, and in gold.


that I would not take a thread or a sandal-thong or anything that is yours, lest you should say, ‘I have made Abram rich.’


The Lord has greatly blessed my master, and he has become great; he has given him flocks and herds, silver and gold, menservants and maidservants, camels and asses.


And Isaac sowed in that land, and reaped in the same year a hundredfold. The Lord blessed him,


and the man became rich, and gained more and more until he became very wealthy.


And you shall say to him, ‘Thus says the Lord, “Have you killed, and also taken possession?” ’ And you shall say to him, ‘Thus says the Lord: “In the place where dogs licked up the blood of Naboth shall dogs lick your own blood.” ’ ”


Jabez called on the God of Israel, saying, “Oh that thou wouldst bless me and enlarge my border, and that thy hand might be with me, and that thou wouldst keep me from harm so that it might not hurt me!” And God granted what he asked.


And Amaziah said to the man of God, “But what shall we do about the hundred talents which I have given to the army of Israel?” The man of God answered, “The Lord is able to give you much more than this.”


And Hezekiah had very great riches and honor; and he made for himself treasuries for silver, for gold, for precious stones, for spices, for shields, and for all kinds of costly vessels;


He likewise provided cities for himself, and flocks and herds in abundance; for God had given him very great possessions.


By his blessing they multiply greatly; and he does not let their cattle decrease.


It is in vain that you rise up early and go late to rest, eating the bread of anxious toil; for he gives to his beloved sleep.


for those blessed by the Lord shall possess the land, but those cursed by him shall be cut off.


The crown of the wise is their wisdom, but folly is the garland of fools.


An inheritance gotten hastily in the beginning will in the end not be blessed.


A miserly man hastens after wealth, and does not know that want will come upon him.


endowing with wealth those who love me, and filling their treasuries.


At the end of ten days it was seen that they were better in appearance and fatter in flesh than all the youths who ate the king's rich food.


I will send it forth, says the Lord of hosts, and it shall enter the house of the thief, and the house of him who swears falsely by my name; and it shall abide in his house and consume it, both timber and stones.”


And behold, now I bring the first of the fruit of the ground, which thou, O Lord, hast given me.’ And you shall set it down before the Lord your God, and worship before the Lord your God;


And the Lord will make you abound in prosperity, in the fruit of your body, and in the fruit of your cattle, and in the fruit of your ground, within the land which the Lord swore to your fathers to give you.


But you, keep yourselves from the things devoted to destruction, lest when you have devoted them you take any of the devoted things and make the camp of Israel a thing for destruction, and bring trouble upon it.
