then hear thou in heaven, and forgive the sin of thy people Israel, and bring them again to the land which thou gavest to their fathers.


He remembered for their sake his covenant, and relented according to the abundance of his steadfast love.


Yet he, being compassionate, forgave their iniquity, and did not destroy them; he restrained his anger often, and did not stir up all his wrath.


Thou didst forgive the iniquity of thy people; thou didst pardon all their sin. Selah


But now, if thou wilt forgive their sin—and if not, blot me, I pray thee, out of thy book which thou hast written.”


And the Lord said to Moses, “This very thing that you have spoken I will do; for you have found favor in my sight, and I know you by name.”


And he said, “If now I have found favor in thy sight, O Lord, let the Lord, I pray thee, go in the midst of us, although it is a stiff-necked people; and pardon our iniquity and our sin, and take us for thy inheritance.”


let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts; let him return to the Lord, that he may have mercy on him, and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.


O Lord, hear; O Lord, forgive; O Lord, give heed and act; delay not, for thy own sake, O my God, because thy city and thy people are called by thy name.”


When they had finished eating the grass of the land, I said, “O Lord God, forgive, I beseech thee! How can Jacob stand? He is so small!”


Then I said, “O Lord God, cease, I beseech thee! How can Jacob stand? He is so small!”


When God saw what they did, how they turned from their evil way, God repented of the evil which he had said he would do to them; and he did not do it.


And he prayed to the Lord and said, “I pray thee, Lord, is not this what I said when I was yet in my country? That is why I made haste to flee to Tarshish; for I knew that thou art a gracious God and merciful, slow to anger, and abounding in steadfast love, and repentest of evil.


Who is a God like thee, pardoning iniquity and passing over transgression for the remnant of his inheritance? He does not retain his anger for ever because he delights in steadfast love.


O Lord, I have heard the report of thee, and thy work, O Lord, do I fear. In the midst of the years renew it; in the midst of the years make it known; in wrath remember mercy.


He has not beheld misfortune in Jacob; nor has he seen trouble in Israel. The Lord their God is with them, and the shout of a king is among them.


and the prayer of faith will save the sick man, and the Lord will raise him up; and if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven.
