And Amaziah said to the man of God, “But what shall we do about the hundred talents which I have given to the army of Israel?” The man of God answered, “The Lord is able to give you much more than this.”


He provides food for those who fear him; he is ever mindful of his covenant.


Trust in the Lord, and do good; so you will dwell in the land, and enjoy security.


Cast your burden on the Lord, and he will sustain you; he will never permit the righteous to be moved.


And the disciples said to him, “Where are we to get bread enough in the desert to feed so great a crowd?”


But he answered, “It is written, ‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.’ ”


“Therefore I tell you, do not be anxious about your life, what you shall eat or what you shall drink, nor about your body, what you shall put on. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothing?


And which of you by being anxious can add one cubit to his span of life?


But the Lord answered her, “Martha, Martha, you are anxious and troubled about many things;


And when they bring you before the synagogues and the rulers and the authorities, do not be anxious how or what you are to answer or what you are to say;


And he said to his disciples, “Therefore I tell you, do not be anxious about your life, what you shall eat, nor about your body, what you shall put on.


And do not seek what you are to eat and what you are to drink, nor be of anxious mind.


Have no anxiety about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.


Cast all your anxieties on him, for he cares about you.
