And his brothers were jealous of him, but his father kept the saying in mind.


When men in the camp were jealous of Moses and Aaron, the holy one of the Lord,


Wrath is cruel, anger is overwhelming; but who can stand before jealousy?


Then I saw that all toil and all skill in work come from a man's envy of his neighbor. This also is vanity and a striving after wind.


O Lord, thy hand is lifted up, but they see it not. Let them see thy zeal for thy people, and be ashamed. Let the fire for thy adversaries consume them.


So when they had gathered, Pilate said to them, “Whom do you want me to release for you, Barabbas or Jesus who is called Christ?”
