15 For this people's heart has grown dull, and their ears are heavy of hearing, and their eyes they have closed, lest they should perceive with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their heart, and turn for me to heal them.’

He who winks his eyes plans perverse things, he who compresses his lips brings evil to pass.


He feeds on ashes; a deluded mind has led him astray, and he cannot deliver himself or say, “Is there not a lie in my right hand?”


I have seen his ways, but I will heal him; I will lead him and requite him with comfort, creating for his mourners the fruit of the lips.


Make the heart of this people fat, and their ears heavy, and shut their eyes; lest they see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their hearts, and turn and be healed.”


Heal me, O Lord, and I shall be healed; save me, and I shall be saved; for thou art my praise.


The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately corrupt; who can understand it?
