Come, let us deal shrewdly with them, lest they multiply, and, if war befall us, they join our enemies and fight against us and escape from the land.”


A man is commended according to his good sense, but one of perverse mind is despised.


And whoever says a word against the Son of man will be forgiven; but whoever speaks against the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven, either in this age or in the age to come.


And when he said, “From others,” Jesus said to him, “Then the sons are free.


“He who is faithful in a very little is faithful also in much; and he who is dishonest in a very little is dishonest also in much.


I have decided what to do, so that people may receive me into their houses when I am put out of the stewardship.’


Then he said to another, ‘And how much do you owe?’ He said, ‘A hundred measures of wheat.’ He said to him, ‘Take your bill, and write eighty.’


And the Lord said, “Hear what the unrighteous judge says.


And Jesus said to them, “The sons of this age marry and are given in marriage;


but those who are accounted worthy to attain to that age and to the resurrection from the dead neither marry nor are given in marriage,


While you have the light, believe in the light, that you may become sons of light.” When Jesus had said this, he departed and hid himself from them.


Let no one deceive himself. If any one among you thinks that he is wise in this age, let him become a fool that he may become wise.


for once you were darkness, but now you are light in the Lord; walk as children of light


Their end is destruction, their god is the belly, and they glory in their shame, with minds set on earthly things.


For you are all sons of light and sons of the day; we are not of the night or of darkness.


But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God's own people, that you may declare the wonderful deeds of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light.


By this it may be seen who are the children of God, and who are the children of the devil: whoever does not do right is not of God, nor he who does not love his brother.
