19 “You shall keep my statutes. You shall not let your cattle breed with a different kind; you shall not sow your field with two kinds of seed; nor shall there come upon you a garment of cloth made of two kinds of stuff.

You shall do my ordinances and keep my statutes and walk in them. I am the Lord your God.


And you shall observe all my statutes and all my ordinances, and do them: I am the Lord.”

“So you shall keep my commandments and do them: I am the Lord.


“Therefore you shall do my statutes, and keep my ordinances and perform them; so you will dwell in the land securely.


He told them a parable also: “No one tears a piece from a new garment and puts it upon an old garment; if he does, he will tear the new, and the piece from the new will not match the old.


But if it is by grace, it is no longer on the basis of works; otherwise grace would no longer be grace.


“And now, O Israel, give heed to the statutes and the ordinances which I teach you, and do them; that you may live, and go in and take possession of the land which the Lord, the God of your fathers, gives you.


Behold, I have taught you statutes and ordinances, as the Lord my God commanded me, that you should do them in the land which you are entering to take possession of it.
