And you shall put them upon Aaron your brother, and upon his sons with him, and shall anoint them and ordain them and consecrate them, that they may serve me as priests.


And you shall take the anointing oil, and pour it on his head and anoint him.


And you shall anoint Aaron and his sons, and consecrate them, that they may serve me as priests.


And the Lord spoke to Aaron, saying,


neither shall he go out of the sanctuary, nor profane the sanctuary of his God; for the consecration of the anointing oil of his God is upon him: I am the Lord.


And he poured some of the anointing oil on Aaron's head, and anointed him, to consecrate him.


Then Moses took some of the anointing oil and of the blood which was on the altar, and sprinkled it upon Aaron and his garments, and also upon his sons and his sons' garments; so he consecrated Aaron and his garments, and his sons and his sons' garments with him.


But he said to him, “Leave the dead to bury their own dead; but as for you, go and proclaim the kingdom of God.”
