who alone stretched out the heavens, and trampled the waves of the sea;


The Lord sits enthroned over the flood; the Lord sits enthroned as king for ever.


Mightier than the thunders of many waters, mightier than the waves of the sea, the Lord on high is mighty!


Your rowers have brought you out into the high seas. The east wind has wrecked you in the heart of the seas.


Nevertheless the men rowed hard to bring the ship back to land, but they could not, for the sea grew more and more tempestuous against them.


That very day two of them were going to a village named Emmaus, about seven miles from Jerusalem,


While he was coming, the demon tore him and convulsed him. But Jesus rebuked the unclean spirit, and healed the boy, and gave him back to his father.


Bethany was near Jerusalem, about two miles off,


“I will not leave you desolate; I will come to you.


The sea rose because a strong wind was blowing.


but he said to them, “It is I; do not be afraid.”


and the wine press was trodden outside the city, and blood flowed from the wine press, as high as a horse's bridle, for one thousand six hundred stadia.


The city lies foursquare, its length the same as its breadth; and he measured the city with his rod, twelve thousand stadia; its length and breadth and height are equal.
