For the Son of man came to seek and to save the lost.”


and that repentance and forgiveness of sins should be preached in his name to all nations, beginning from Jerusalem.


but these are written that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that believing you may have life in his name.


there is another who bears witness to me, and I know that the testimony which he bears to me is true.


I do not receive glory from men.


Jesus answered, “If I glorify myself, my glory is nothing; it is my Father who glorifies me, of whom you say that he is your God.


Brethren, my heart's desire and prayer to God for them is that they may be saved.

What if some were unfaithful? Does their faithlessness nullify the faithfulness of God?

Take heed to yourself and to your teaching; hold to that, for by so doing you will save both yourself and your hearers.


If we receive the testimony of men, the testimony of God is greater; for this is the testimony of God that he has borne witness to his Son.
