who by thy strength hast established the mountains, being girded with might;


Lift up your eyes on high and see: who created these? He who brings out their host by number, calling them all by name; by the greatness of his might, and because he is strong in power not one is missing.


Are not two sparrows sold for a penny? And not one of them will fall to the ground without your Father's will.


do you say of him whom the Father consecrated and sent into the world, ‘You are blaspheming,’ because I said, ‘I am the Son of God’?


Do you not believe that I am in the Father and the Father in me? The words that I say to you I do not speak on my own authority; but the Father who dwells in me does his works.


And this was why the Jews persecuted Jesus, because he did this on the sabbath.


This was why the Jews sought all the more to kill him, because he not only broke the sabbath but also called God his own Father, making himself equal with God.


We must work the works of him who sent me, while it is day; night comes, when no one can work.


yet he did not leave himself without witness, for he did good and gave you from heaven rains and fruitful seasons, satisfying your hearts with food and gladness.”


for ‘In him we live and move and have our being’; as even some of your poets have said, ‘For we are indeed his offspring.’


and there are varieties of working, but it is the same God who inspires them all in every one.


for in him all things were created, in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or authorities—all things were created through him and for him.
