And the woman said to Elijah, “Now I know that you are a man of God, and that the word of the Lord in your mouth is truth.”


Some of his disciples said to one another, “What is this that he says to us, ‘A little while, and you will not see me, and again a little while, and you will see me’; and, ‘because I go to the Father’?”


In that day you will ask nothing of me. Truly, truly, I say to you, if you ask anything of the Father, he will give it to you in my name.


In that day you will ask in my name; and I do not say to you that I shall pray the Father for you;


Jesus answered them, “Do you now believe?


for I have given them the words which thou gavest me, and they have received them and know in truth that I came from thee; and they have believed that thou didst send me.


This, the first of his signs, Jesus did at Cana in Galilee, and manifested his glory; and his disciples believed in him.


He said to him the third time, “Simon, son of John, do you love me?” Peter was grieved because he said to him the third time, “Do you love me?” And he said to him, “Lord, you know everything; you know that I love you.” Jesus said to him, “Feed my sheep.


For the Father loves the Son, and shows him all that he himself is doing; and greater works than these will he show him, that you may marvel.


Jesus said to them, “If God were your Father, you would love me, for I proceeded and came forth from God; I came not of my own accord, but he sent me.


And before him no creature is hidden, but all are open and laid bare to the eyes of him with whom we have to do.
