The Lord God has opened my ear, and I was not rebellious, I turned not backward.


And going a little farther he fell on his face and prayed, “My Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me; nevertheless, not as I will, but as thou wilt.”


Rise, let us be going; see, my betrayer is at hand.”


I have a baptism to be baptized with; and how I am constrained until it is accomplished!


No one takes it from me, but I lay it down of my own accord. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again; this charge I have received from my Father.”


“Now is my soul troubled. And what shall I say? ‘Father, save me from this hour’? No, for this purpose I have come to this hour.


For I have not spoken on my own authority; the Father who sent me has himself given me commandment what to say and what to speak.
