The sons of Cush: Seba, Havilah, Sabtah, Raamah, and Sabteca. The sons of Raamah: Sheba and Dedan.


Hadad, Tema, Jetur, Naphish, and Kedemah.


Jokshan was the father of Sheba and Dedan. The sons of Dedan were Asshurim, Letushim, and Le-ummim.


Now when the queen of Sheba heard of the fame of Solomon concerning the name of the Lord, she came to test him with hard questions.


and the Sabeans fell upon them and took them, and slew the servants with the edge of the sword; and I alone have escaped to tell you.”


Now when Job's three friends heard of all this evil that had come upon him, they came each from his own place, Eliphaz the Temanite, Bildad the Shuhite, and Zophar the Naamathite. They made an appointment together to come to condole with him and comfort him.


The caravans turn aside from their course; they go up into the waste, and perish.


May the kings of Tarshish and of the isles render him tribute, may the kings of Sheba and Seba bring gifts!


To the thirsty bring water, meet the fugitive with bread, O inhabitants of the land of Tema.
