Who can strip off his outer garment? Who can penetrate his double coat of mail?


His back is made of rows of shields, shut up closely as with a seal.


I lie in the midst of lions that greedily devour the sons of men; their teeth are spears and arrows, their tongues sharp swords.


O God, break the teeth in their mouths; tear out the fangs of the young lions, O Lord!


There are those whose teeth are swords, whose teeth are knives, to devour the poor from off the earth, the needy from among men.


and the doors on the street are shut; when the sound of the grinding is low, and one rises up at the voice of a bird, and all the daughters of song are brought low;
