Terrors frighten him on every side, and chase him at his heels.


He is thrust from light into darkness, and driven out of the world.


Terrors overtake him like a flood; in the night a whirlwind carries him off.


Why dost thou not pardon my transgression and take away my iniquity? For now I shall lie in the earth; thou wilt seek me, but I shall not be.”


The eye of him who sees me will behold me no more; while thy eyes are upon me, I shall be gone.


He rode on a cherub, and flew; he came swiftly upon the wings of the wind.


They are like a dream when one awakes, on awaking you despise their phantoms.
