“And you, Solomon my son, know the God of your father, and serve him with a whole heart and with a willing mind; for the Lord searches all hearts, and understands every plan and thought. If you seek him, he will be found by you; but if you forsake him, he will cast you off for ever.


For he stands at the right hand of the needy, to save him from those who condemn him to death.


O continue thy steadfast love to those who know thee, and thy salvation to the upright of heart!


And those who know thy name put their trust in thee, for thou, O Lord, hast not forsaken those who seek thee.


Open your mouth, judge righteously, maintain the rights of the poor and needy.


learn to do good; seek justice, correct oppression; defend the fatherless, plead for the widow.


they have grown fat and sleek. They know no bounds in deeds of wickedness; they judge not with justice the cause of the fatherless, to make it prosper, and they do not defend the rights of the needy.


I will scatter them among the nations whom neither they nor their fathers have known; and I will send the sword after them, until I have consumed them.”


but let him who glories glory in this, that he understands and knows me, that I am the Lord who practice steadfast love, justice, and righteousness in the earth; for in these things I delight, says the Lord.”


They bend their tongue like a bow; falsehood and not truth has grown strong in the land; for they proceed from evil to evil, and they do not know me, says the Lord.


He has showed you, O man, what is good; and what does the Lord require of you but to do justice, and to love kindness, and to walk humbly with your God?


And they will do this because they have not known the Father, nor me.


And this is eternal life, that they know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom thou hast sent.


“I have manifested thy name to the men whom thou gavest me out of the world; thine they were, and thou gavest them to me, and they have kept thy word.


They said to him therefore, “Where is your Father?” Jesus answered, “You know neither me nor my Father; if you knew me, you would know my Father also.”


They profess to know God, but they deny him by their deeds; they are detestable, disobedient, unfit for any good deed.
