Get you up to a high mountain, O Zion, herald of good tidings; lift up your voice with strength, O Jerusalem, herald of good tidings, lift it up, fear not; say to the cities of Judah, “Behold your God!”


Who has performed and done this, calling the generations from the beginning? I, the Lord, the first, and with the last; I am He.


“You are my witnesses,” says the Lord, “and my servant whom I have chosen, that you may know and believe me and understand that I am He. Before me no god was formed, nor shall there be any after me.


who says of Cyrus, ‘He is my shepherd, and he shall fulfil all my purpose’; saying of Jerusalem, ‘She shall be built,’ and of the temple, ‘Your foundation shall be laid.’ ”


Thus says the Lord, the King of Israel and his Redeemer, the Lord of hosts: “I am the first and I am the last; besides me there is no god.


remember the former things of old; for I am God, and there is no other; I am God, and there is none like me,


“Hearken to me, O Jacob, and Israel, whom I called! I am He, I am the first, and I am the last.


“The former things I declared of old, they went forth from my mouth and I made them known; then suddenly I did them and they came to pass.


How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him who brings good tidings, who publishes peace, who brings good tidings of good, who publishes salvation, who says to Zion, “Your God reigns.”


Behold, on the mountains the feet of him who brings good tidings, who proclaims peace! Keep your feasts, O Judah, fulfil your vows, for never again shall the wicked come against you, he is utterly cut off.


And how can men preach unless they are sent? As it is written, “How beautiful are the feet of those who preach good news!”
