They shall also strip you of your clothes and take away your fine jewels.


They even sent for men to come from far, to whom a messenger was sent, and lo, they came. For them you bathed yourself, painted your eyes, and decked yourself with ornaments;


Let not yours be the outward adorning with braiding of hair, decoration of gold, and wearing of fine clothing,


Then Zebah and Zalmunna said, “Rise yourself, and fall upon us; for as the man is, so is his strength.” And Gideon arose and slew Zebah and Zalmunna; and he took the crescents that were on the necks of their camels.
