18 Her merchandise and her hire will be dedicated to the Lord; it will not be stored or hoarded, but her merchandise will supply abundant food and fine clothing for those who dwell before the Lord.

May the kings of Tarshish and of the isles render him tribute, may the kings of Sheba and Seba bring gifts!


May all kings fall down before him, all nations serve him!


“And you shall make a plate of pure gold, and engrave on it, like the engraving of a signet, ‘Holy to the Lord.’


A good man leaves an inheritance to his children's children, but the sinner's wealth is laid up for the righteous.


He who augments his wealth by interest and increase gathers it for him who is kind to the poor.


For to the man who pleases him God gives wisdom and knowledge and joy; but to the sinner he gives the work of gathering and heaping, only to give to one who pleases God. This also is vanity and a striving after wind.


They will make a spoil of your riches and a prey of your merchandise; they will break down your walls and destroy your pleasant houses; your stones and timber and soil they will cast into the midst of the waters.
