“See the man who would not make God his refuge, but trusted in the abundance of his riches, and sought refuge in his wealth!”


Then all men will fear; they will tell what God has wrought, and ponder what he has done.


But you are brought down to Sheol, to the depths of the Pit.


who made the world like a desert and overthrew its cities, who did not let his prisoners go home?’


How the hammer of the whole earth is cut down and broken! How Babylon has become a horror among the nations!


whose graves are set in the uttermost parts of the Pit, and her company is round about her grave; all of them slain, fallen by the sword, who spread terror in the land of the living.
