“Ye mountains of Gilboa, let there be no dew or rain upon you, nor upsurging of the deep! For there the shield of the mighty was defiled, the shield of Saul, not anointed with oil.


saying, “Touch not my anointed ones, do my prophets no harm!”


For thy servant David's sake do not turn away the face of thy anointed one.


“I have set my king on Zion, my holy hill.”


Now I know that the Lord will help his anointed; he will answer him from his holy heaven with mighty victories by his right hand.


you love righteousness and hate wickedness. Therefore God, your God, has anointed you with the oil of gladness above your fellows;
