Then Jacob called his sons, and said, “Gather yourselves together, that I may tell you what shall befall you in days to come.


It shall come to pass in the latter days that the mountain of the house of the Lord shall be established as the highest of the mountains, and shall be raised above the hills; and all the nations shall flow to it,


Thus says the Lord, your Redeemer, who formed you from the womb: “I am the Lord, who made all things, who stretched out the heavens alone, who spread out the earth—Who was with me? —


I made the earth, and created man upon it; it was my hands that stretched out the heavens, and I commanded all their host.


For thus says the Lord, who created the heavens (he is God!), who formed the earth and made it (he established it; he did not create it a chaos, he formed it to be inhabited!): “I am the Lord, and there is no other.


The fierce anger of the Lord will not turn back until he has executed and accomplished the intents of his mind. In the latter days you will understand this.


Yet I will restore the fortunes of Moab in the latter days, says the Lord.” Thus far is the judgment on Moab.


you will come up against my people Israel, like a cloud covering the land. In the latter days I will bring you against my land, that the nations may know me, when through you, O Gog, I vindicate my holiness before their eyes.


and came to make you understand what is to befall your people in the latter days. For the vision is for days yet to come.”


but there is a God in heaven who reveals mysteries, and he has made known to King Nebuchadnezzar what will be in the latter days. Your dream and the visions of your head as you lay in bed are these:


Afterward the children of Israel shall return and seek the Lord their God, and David their king; and they shall come in fear to the Lord and to his goodness in the latter days.


It shall come to pass in the latter days that the mountain of the house of the Lord shall be established as the highest of the mountains, and shall be raised up above the hills; and peoples shall flow to it,


And now, behold, I am going to my people; come, I will let you know what this people will do to your people in the latter days.”


and the enemy who sowed them is the devil; the harvest is the close of the age, and the reapers are angels.


He was still speaking, when lo, a bright cloud overshadowed them, and a voice from the cloud said, “This is my beloved Son, with whom I am well pleased; listen to him.”


But when the tenants saw the son, they said to themselves, ‘This is the heir; come, let us kill him and have his inheritance.’


But Jesus was silent. And the high priest said to him, “I adjure you by the living God, tell us if you are the Christ, the Son of God.”


And Jesus came and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.


and lo, a voice from heaven, saying, “This is my beloved Son, with whom I am well pleased.”


The beginning of the gospel of Jesus Christ, the Son of God.


He had still one other, a beloved son; finally he sent him to them, saying, ‘They will respect my son.’


But those tenants said to one another, ‘This is the heir; come, let us kill him, and the inheritance will be ours.’


He was in the world, and the world was made through him, yet the world knew him not.


And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, full of grace and truth; we have beheld his glory, glory as of the only Son from the Father.


all things were made through him, and without him was not anything made that was made.


Jesus, knowing that the Father had given all things into his hands, and that he had come from God and was going to God,


if God is glorified in him, God will also glorify him in himself, and glorify him at once.


No longer do I call you servants, for the servant does not know what his master is doing; but I have called you friends, for all that I have heard from my Father I have made known to you.


All that the Father has is mine; therefore I said that he will take what is mine and declare it to you.


since thou hast given him power over all flesh, to give eternal life to all whom thou hast given him.


For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.


Now a discussion arose between John's disciples and a Jew over purifying.


For as the Father has life in himself, so he has granted the Son also to have life in himself,


and has given him authority to execute judgment, because he is the Son of man.


We know that God has spoken to Moses, but as for this man, we do not know where he comes from.”


You know the word which he sent to Israel, preaching good news of peace by Jesus Christ (he is Lord of all),


‘And in the last days it shall be, God declares, that I will pour out my Spirit upon all flesh, and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams;


and designated Son of God in power according to the Spirit of holiness by his resurrection from the dead, Jesus Christ our Lord,


and if children, then heirs, heirs of God and fellow heirs with Christ, provided we suffer with him in order that we may also be glorified with him.


But we impart a secret and hidden wisdom of God, which God decreed before the ages for our glorification.


yet for us there is one God, the Father, from whom are all things and for whom we exist, and one Lord, Jesus Christ, through whom are all things and through whom we exist.


But when the time had fully come, God sent forth his Son, born of woman, born under the law,


as a plan for the fulness of time, to unite all things in him, things in heaven and things on earth.


and to make all men see what is the plan of the mystery hidden for ages in God who created all things;


“The Lord your God will raise up for you a prophet like me from among you, from your brethren—him you shall heed—


For I know that after my death you will surely act corruptly, and turn aside from the way which I have commanded you; and in the days to come evil will befall you, because you will do what is evil in the sight of the Lord, provoking him to anger through the work of your hands.”


When you are in tribulation, and all these things come upon you in the latter days, you will return to the Lord your God and obey his voice,


For to what angel did God ever say, “Thou art my Son, today I have begotten thee”? Or again, “I will be to him a father, and he shall be to me a son”?


But of the Son he says, “Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever, the righteous scepter is the scepter of thy kingdom.


By faith we understand that the world was created by the word of God, so that what is seen was made out of things which do not appear.


how shall we escape if we neglect such a great salvation? It was declared at first by the Lord, and it was attested to us by those who heard him,


but Christ was faithful over God's house as a son. And we are his house if we hold fast our confidence and pride in our hope.


Since then we have a great high priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus, the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession.


Although he was a Son, he learned obedience through what he suffered;


Indeed, the law appoints men in their weakness as high priests, but the word of the oath, which came later than the law, appoints a Son who has been made perfect for ever.


He is without father or mother or genealogy, and has neither beginning of days nor end of life, but resembling the Son of God he continues a priest for ever.


for then he would have had to suffer repeatedly since the foundation of the world. But as it is, he has appeared once for all at the end of the age to put away sin by the sacrifice of himself.


He was destined before the foundation of the world but was made manifest at the end of the times for your sake.


First of all you must understand this, that scoffers will come in the last days with scoffing, following their own passions


they said to you, “In the last time there will be scoffers, following their own ungodly passions.”
