And God said, “Let the earth put forth vegetation, plants yielding seed, and fruit trees bearing fruit in which is their seed, each according to its kind, upon the earth.” And it was so.


And there was evening and there was morning, a third day.


Thou dost cause the grass to grow for the cattle, and plants for man to cultivate, that he may bring forth food from the earth,


For as the earth brings forth its shoots, and as a garden causes what is sown in it to spring up, so the Lord God will cause righteousness and praise to spring forth before all the nations.


The earth produces of itself, first the blade, then the ear, then the full grain in the ear.


for each tree is known by its own fruit. For figs are not gathered from thorns, nor are grapes picked from a bramble bush.


He who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food will supply and multiply your resources and increase the harvest of your righteousness.


Do not be deceived; God is not mocked, for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap.


For land which has drunk the rain that often falls upon it, and brings forth vegetation useful to those for whose sake it is cultivated, receives a blessing from God.
