seeing that Abraham shall become a great and mighty nation, and all the nations of the earth shall bless themselves by him?


and by your descendants shall all the nations of the earth bless themselves, because you have obeyed my voice.”


I will multiply your descendants as the stars of heaven, and will give to your descendants all these lands; and by your descendants all the nations of the earth shall bless themselves:


and your descendants shall be like the dust of the earth, and you shall spread abroad to the west and to the east and to the north and to the south; and by you and your descendants shall all the families of the earth bless themselves.


The scepter shall not depart from Judah, nor the ruler's staff from between his feet, until he comes to whom it belongs; and to him shall be the obedience of the peoples.


In his days may righteousness flourish, and peace abound, till the moon be no more!


And though a tenth remain in it, it will be burned again, like a terebinth or an oak, whose stump remains standing when it is felled.” The holy seed is its stump.


I will bring forth descendants from Jacob, and from Judah inheritors of my mountains; my chosen shall inherit it, and my servants shall dwell there.


and if you swear, ‘As the Lord lives,’ in truth, in justice, and in uprightness, then nations shall bless themselves in him, and in him shall they glory.”


And again another scripture says, “They shall look on him whom they have pierced.”


He who believes in me, as the scripture has said, ‘Out of his heart shall flow rivers of living water.’ ”


Has not the scripture said that the Christ is descended from David, and comes from Bethlehem, the village where David was?”


till I make thy enemies a stool for thy feet.’


For the scripture says to Pharaoh, “I have raised you up for the very purpose of showing my power in you, so that my name may be proclaimed in all the earth.”


What shall we say, then? That Gentiles who did not pursue righteousness have attained it, that is, righteousness through faith;


Now the promises were made to Abraham and to his offspring. It does not say, “And to offsprings,” referring to many; but, referring to one, “And to your offspring,” which is Christ.


But the scripture consigned all things to sin, that what was promised to faith in Jesus Christ might be given to those who believe.


But what does the scripture say? “Cast out the slave and her son; for the son of the slave shall not inherit with the son of the free woman.”


For good news came to us just as to them; but the message which they heard did not benefit them, because it did not meet with faith in the hearers.


Then the seventh angel blew his trumpet, and there were loud voices in heaven, saying, “The kingdom of the world has become the kingdom of our Lord and of his Christ, and he shall reign for ever and ever.”
