6 And she has wickedly rebelled against my ordinances more than the nations, and against my statutes more than the countries round about her, by rejecting my ordinances and not walking in my statutes.

“Because Manasseh king of Judah has committed these abominations, and has done things more wicked than all that the Amorites did, who were before him, and has made Judah also to sin with his idols;


But they did not listen, and Manasseh seduced them to do more evil than the nations had done whom the Lord destroyed before the people of Israel.


our kings, our princes, our priests, and our fathers have not kept thy law or heeded thy commandments and thy warnings which thou didst give them.


They did not serve thee in their kingdom, and in thy great goodness which thou gavest them, and in the large and rich land which thou didst set before them; and they did not turn from their wicked works.


They exchanged the glory of God for the image of an ox that eats grass.


They did not keep God's covenant, but refused to walk according to his law.


And the Lord said to Moses, “How long do you refuse to keep my commandments and my laws?


They have turned back to the iniquities of their forefathers, who refused to hear my words; they have gone after other gods to serve them; the house of Israel and the house of Judah have broken my covenant which I made with their fathers.


O Lord, do not thy eyes look for truth? Thou hast smitten them, but they felt no anguish; thou hast consumed them, but they refused to take correction. They have made their faces harder than rock; they have refused to repent.


Why then has this people turned away in perpetual backsliding? They hold fast to deceit, they refuse to return.


Heaping oppression upon oppression, and deceit upon deceit, they refuse to know me, says the Lord.


and you shall know that I am the Lord; for you have not walked in my statutes, nor executed my ordinances, but have acted according to the ordinances of the nations that are round about you.”


Samaria has not committed half your sins; you have committed more abominations than they, and have made your sisters appear righteous by all the abominations which you have committed.


And now, O Lord our God, who didst bring thy people out of the land of Egypt with a mighty hand, and hast made thee a name, as at this day, we have sinned, we have done wickedly.


we have sinned and done wrong and acted wickedly and rebelled, turning aside from thy commandments and ordinances;


To us, O Lord, belongs confusion of face, to our kings, to our princes, and to our fathers, because we have sinned against thee.


But they refused to hearken, and turned a stubborn shoulder, and stopped their ears that they might not hear.


It is actually reported that there is immorality among you, and of a kind that is not found even among pagans; for a man is living with his father's wife.


For admission has been secretly gained by some who long ago were designated for this condemnation, ungodly persons who pervert the grace of our God into licentiousness and deny our only Master and Lord, Jesus Christ.
