O my threshed and winnowed one, what I have heard from the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel, I announce to you.


“Thus says the Lord: Stand in the court of the Lord's house, and speak to all the cities of Judah which come to worship in the house of the Lord all the words that I command you to speak to them; do not hold back a word.


And he said to me, “Son of man, stand upon your feet, and I will speak with you.”


And he said to me, “Son of man, I send you to the people of Israel, to a nation of rebels, who have rebelled against me; they and their fathers have transgressed against me to this very day.


“Son of man, I have made you a watchman for the house of Israel; whenever you hear a word from my mouth, you shall give them warning from me.


“And you, son of man, describe to the house of Israel the temple and its appearance and plan, that they may be ashamed of their iniquities.


And the Lord said to me, “Son of man, mark well, see with your eyes, and hear with your ears all that I shall tell you concerning all the ordinances of the temple of the Lord and all its laws; and mark well those who may be admitted to the temple and all those who are to be excluded from the sanctuary.


And he said to me, “Son of man, have you seen this?” Then he led me back along the bank of the river.


What I tell you in the dark, utter in the light; and what you hear whispered, proclaim upon the housetops.


He who has ears, let him hear.”


for I did not shrink from declaring to you the whole counsel of God.


For I received from the Lord what I also delivered to you, that the Lord Jesus on the night when he was betrayed took bread,


he said to them, “Lay to heart all the words which I enjoin upon you this day, that you may command them to your children, that they may be careful to do all the words of this law.
