There is severe discipline for him who forsakes the way; he who hates reproof will die.


He who is often reproved, yet stiffens his neck, will suddenly be broken beyond healing.


But if you warn the wicked, and he does not turn from his wickedness, or from his wicked way, he shall die in his iniquity; but you will have saved your life.


Nevertheless if you warn the righteous man not to sin, and he does not sin, he shall surely live, because he took warning; and you will have saved your life.”


and if he sees the sword coming upon the land and blows the trumpet and warns the people;


then if any one who hears the sound of the trumpet does not take warning, and the sword comes and takes him away, his blood shall be upon his own head.


But if the watchman sees the sword coming and does not blow the trumpet, so that the people are not warned, and the sword comes, and takes any one of them; that man is taken away in his iniquity, but his blood I will require at the watchman's hand.


And that servant who knew his master's will, but did not make ready or act according to his will, shall receive a severe beating.


I told you that you would die in your sins, for you will die in your sins unless you believe that I am he.”


Beware, therefore, lest there come upon you what is said in the prophets:


‘Behold, you scoffers, and wonder, and perish; for I do a deed in your days, a deed you will never believe, if one declares it to you.’ ”


And Paul and Barnabas spoke out boldly, saying, “It was necessary that the word of God should be spoken first to you. Since you thrust it from you, and judge yourselves unworthy of eternal life, behold, we turn to the Gentiles.


Therefore I testify to you this day that I am innocent of the blood of all of you,


And we exhort you, brethren, admonish the idlers, encourage the fainthearted, help the weak, be patient with them all.


See that you do not refuse him who is speaking. For if they did not escape when they refused him who warned them on earth, much less shall we escape if we reject him who warns from heaven.


how shall we escape if we neglect such a great salvation? It was declared at first by the Lord, and it was attested to us by those who heard him,
