Canaan became the father of Sidon his first-born, and Heth,


the Arvadites, the Zemarites, and the Hamathites. Afterward the families of the Canaanites spread abroad.


Zebulun shall dwell at the shore of the sea; he shall become a haven for ships, and his border shall be at Sidon.


Now therefore command that cedars of Lebanon be cut for me; and my servants will join your servants, and I will pay you for your servants such wages as you set; for you know that there is no one among us who knows how to cut timber like the Sidonians.”


And Hiram sent with the fleet his servants, seamen who were familiar with the sea, together with the servants of Solomon;


the Arvadites, the Zemarites, and the Hamathites.
