“Son of man, what is this proverb that you have about the land of Israel, saying, ‘The days grow long, and every vision comes to naught’?


Again the word of the Lord came to me:


Therefore say to them, Thus says the Lord God: None of my words will be delayed any longer, but the word which I speak will be performed, says the Lord God.”


and came to make you understand what is to befall your people in the latter days. For the vision is for days yet to come.”


The vision of the evenings and the mornings which has been told is true; but seal up the vision, for it pertains to many days hence.”


O you who put far away the evil day, and bring near the seat of violence?
