you whose garments are hot when the earth is still because of the south wind?


From its chamber comes the whirlwind, and cold from the scattering winds.


For he commanded, and raised the stormy wind, which lifted up the waves of the sea.


he made the storm be still, and the waves of the sea were hushed.


All streams run to the sea, but the sea is not full; to the place where the streams flow, there they flow again.


As you do not know how the spirit comes to the bones in the womb of a woman with child, so you do not know the work of God who makes everything.


But the Lord hurled a great wind upon the sea, and there was a mighty tempest on the sea, so that the ship threatened to break up.


“Every one then who hears these words of mine and does them will be like a wise man who built his house upon the rock;


and the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and beat against that house, and it fell; and great was the fall of it.”


The wind blows where it wills, and you hear the sound of it, but you do not know whence it comes or whither it goes; so it is with every one who is born of the Spirit.”
