And when the men of that place recognized him, they sent round to all that region and brought to him all that were sick,


And they were all amazed and said to one another, “What is this word? For with authority and power he commands the unclean spirits, and they come out.”


And all were astonished at the majesty of God. But while they were all marveling at everything he did, he said to his disciples,


For the Father loves the Son, and shows him all that he himself is doing; and greater works than these will he show him, that you may marvel.


Jesus answered, “It was not that this man sinned, or his parents, but that the works of God might be made manifest in him.


The neighbors and those who had seen him before as a beggar, said, “Is not this the man who used to sit and beg?”


And all were amazed and perplexed, saying to one another, “What does this mean?”


And they were amazed and wondered, saying, “Are not all these who are speaking Galileans?


And a man lame from birth was being carried, whom they laid daily at that gate of the temple which is called Beautiful to ask alms of those who entered the temple.
