And they came to Ephesus, and he left them there; but he himself went into the synagogue and argued with the Jews.


but on taking leave of them he said, “I will return to you if God wills,” and he set sail from Ephesus.


While Apollos was at Corinth, Paul passed through the upper country and came to Ephesus. There he found some disciples.


And now, behold, I know that all you among whom I have gone preaching the kingdom will see my face no more.


Sopater of Beroea, the son of Pyrrhus, accompanied him; and of the Thessalonians, Aristarchus and Secundus; and Gaius of Derbe, and Timothy; and the Asians, Tychicus and Trophimus.


Now that you also may know how I am and what I am doing, Tychicus the beloved brother and faithful minister in the Lord will tell you everything.


I have sent him to you for this very purpose, that you may know how we are, and that he may encourage your hearts.


Tychicus will tell you all about my affairs; he is a beloved brother and faithful minister and fellow servant in the Lord.


As I urged you when I was going to Macedonia, remain at Ephesus that you may charge certain persons not to teach any different doctrine,


When I send Artemas or Tychicus to you, do your best to come to me at Nicopolis, for I have decided to spend the winter there.
