And I told them of the hand of my God which had been upon me for good, and also of the words which the king had spoken to me. And they said, “Let us rise up and build.” So they strengthened their hands for the good work.


Now there was at Joppa a disciple named Tabitha, which means Dorcas. She was full of good works and acts of charity.


And God is able to provide you with every blessing in abundance, so that you may always have enough of everything and may provide in abundance for every good work.


For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.


But as for you, man of God, shun all this; aim at righteousness, godliness, faith, love, steadfastness, gentleness.


If any one purifies himself from what is ignoble, then he will be a vessel for noble use, consecrated and useful to the master of the house, ready for any good work.


They profess to know God, but they deny him by their deeds; they are detestable, disobedient, unfit for any good deed.


who gave himself for us to redeem us from all iniquity and to purify for himself a people of his own who are zealous for good deeds.


Remind them to be submissive to rulers and authorities, to be obedient, to be ready for any honest work,


and let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works,


equip you with everything good that you may do his will, working in you that which is pleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ; to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.
