This is a light thing in the sight of the Lord; he will also give the Moabites into your hand,


And this was a small thing in thy eyes, O God; thou hast also spoken of thy servant's house for a great while to come, and hast shown me future generations, O Lord God!


How precious is thy steadfast love, O God! The children of men take refuge in the shadow of thy wings.


Is it not enough for you to feed on the good pasture, that you must tread down with your feet the rest of your pasture; and to drink of clear water, that you must foul the rest with your feet?


Is it a small thing that you have brought us up out of a land flowing with milk and honey, to kill us in the wilderness, that you must also make yourself a prince over us?


is it too small a thing for you that the God of Israel has separated you from the congregation of Israel, to bring you near to himself, to do service in the tabernacle of the Lord, and to stand before the congregation to minister to them;


that in the coming ages he might show the immeasurable riches of his grace in kindness toward us in Christ Jesus.
