But Zerubbabel, Jeshua, and the rest of the heads of fathers' houses in Israel said to them, “You have nothing to do with us in building a house to our God; but we alone will build to the Lord, the God of Israel, as King Cyrus the king of Persia has commanded us.”


He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned.


And more than ever believers were added to the Lord, multitudes both of men and women,


But Peter said to him, “Your silver perish with you, because you thought you could obtain the gift of God with money!


but brother goes to law against brother, and that before unbelievers?


If any one does not provide for his relatives, and especially for his own family, he has disowned the faith and is worse than an unbeliever.


Through him you have confidence in God, who raised him from the dead and gave him glory, so that your faith and hope are in God.


As they were making their hearts merry, behold, the men of the city, base fellows, beset the house round about, beating on the door; and they said to the old man, the master of the house, “Bring out the man who came into your house, that we may know him.”
