So these went out of the city, the servants of the governors of the districts, and the army which followed them.


And the king of Israel went out, and captured the horses and chariots, and killed the Syrians with a great slaughter.


Then Sennacherib king of Assyria departed, and went home, and dwelt at Nineveh.


A king is not saved by his great army; a warrior is not delivered by his great strength.
