At that time Abijah the son of Jeroboam fell sick.


Jeroboam's wife did so; she arose, and went to Shiloh, and came to the house of Ahijah. Now Ahijah could not see, for his eyes were dim because of his age.


So the prophet departed, and waited for the king by the way, disguising himself with a bandage over his eyes.


And the king of Israel said to Jehoshaphat, “I will disguise myself and go into battle, but you wear your robes.” And the king of Israel disguised himself and went into battle.
