1 Corinthians 7:17 - Revised Standard Version

17 Only, let every one lead the life which the Lord has assigned to him, and in which God has called him. This is my rule in all the churches.

For there are eunuchs who have been so from birth, and there are eunuchs who have been made eunuchs by men, and there are eunuchs who have made themselves eunuchs for the sake of the kingdom of heaven. He who is able to receive this, let him receive it.”


Give no offense to Jews or to Greeks or to the church of God,


If any one is disposed to be contentious, we recognize no other practice, nor do the churches of God.


if any one is hungry, let him eat at home—lest you come together to be condemned. About the other things I will give directions when I come.


For God is not a God of confusion but of peace. As in all the churches of the saints,


Now concerning the contribution for the saints: as I directed the churches of Galatia, so you also are to do.


Therefore I sent to you Timothy, my beloved and faithful child in the Lord, to remind you of my ways in Christ, as I teach them everywhere in every church.


Was any one at the time of his call already circumcised? Let him not seek to remove the marks of circumcision. Was any one at the time of his call uncircumcised? Let him not seek circumcision.


So, brethren, in whatever state each was called, there let him remain with God.


I wish that all were as I myself am. But each has his own special gift from God, one of one kind and one of another.


And, apart from other things, there is the daily pressure upon me of my anxiety for all the churches.


With him we are sending the brother who is famous among all the churches for his preaching of the gospel;


And I was still not known by sight to the churches of Christ in Judea;


For you, brethren, became imitators of the churches of God in Christ Jesus which are in Judea; for you suffered the same things from your own countrymen as they did from the Jews,


Therefore we ourselves boast of you in the churches of God for your steadfastness and faith in all your persecutions and in the afflictions which you are enduring.
