But you, take courage! Do not let your hands be weak, for your work shall be rewarded.”


And they sent to me four times in this way and I answered them in the same manner.


For the righteous will never be moved; he will be remembered for ever.


Moreover by them is thy servant warned; in keeping them there is great reward.


Cast your burden on the Lord, and he will sustain you; he will never permit the righteous to be moved.


All in vain have I kept my heart clean and washed my hands in innocence.


Their heart was not steadfast toward him; they were not true to his covenant.


and that they should not be like their fathers, a stubborn and rebellious generation, a generation whose heart was not steadfast, whose spirit was not faithful to God.


He who pursues righteousness and kindness will find life and honor.


And he said to the man who had the withered hand, “Come here.”


And he said to him, ‘And you are to be over five cities.’


When Timothy comes, see that you put him at ease among you, for he is doing the work of the Lord, as I am.


He who plants and he who waters are equal, and each shall receive his wages according to his labor.


Since we have these promises, beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from every defilement of body and spirit, and make holiness perfect in the fear of God.


I am afraid I have labored over you in vain.


And let us not grow weary in well-doing, for in due season we shall reap, if we do not lose heart.


filled with the fruits of righteousness which come through Jesus Christ, to the glory and praise of God.


And it is my prayer that your love may abound more and more, with knowledge and all discernment,


holding fast the word of life, so that in the day of Christ I may be proud that I did not run in vain or labor in vain.

and may the Lord make you increase and abound in love to one another and to all men, as we do to you,


that no one be moved by these afflictions. You yourselves know that this is to be our lot.


For this reason, when I could bear it no longer, I sent that I might know your faith, for fear that somehow the tempter had tempted you and that our labor would be in vain.


Finally, brethren, we beseech and exhort you in the Lord Jesus, that as you learned from us how you ought to live and to please God, just as you are doing, you do so more and more.


We are bound to give thanks to God always for you, brethren, as is fitting, because your faith is growing abundantly, and the love of every one of you for one another is increasing.


who gave himself for us to redeem us from all iniquity and to purify for himself a people of his own who are zealous for good deeds.


equip you with everything good that you may do his will, working in you that which is pleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ; to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.


For we share in Christ, if only we hold our first confidence firm to the end,


For God is not so unjust as to overlook your work and the love which you showed for his sake in serving the saints, as you still do.


Therefore, beloved, since you wait for these, be zealous to be found by him without spot or blemish, and at peace.
