And he said to them, “O foolish men, and slow of heart to believe all that the prophets have spoken!


Truly, truly, I say to you, unless a grain of wheat falls into the earth and dies, it remains alone; but if it dies, it bears much fruit.


Claiming to be wise, they became fools,


And what you sow is not the body which is to be, but a bare kernel, perhaps of wheat or of some other grain.


Look carefully then how you walk, not as unwise men but as wise,


Do you want to be shown, you shallow man, that faith apart from works is barren?
