1 Corinthians 14:5 - Revised Standard Version

5 Now I want you all to speak in tongues, but even more to prophesy. He who prophesies is greater than he who speaks in tongues, unless some one interprets, so that the church may be edified.

If I speak in the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I am a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal.


Love is patient and kind; love is not jealous or boastful;


Make love your aim, and earnestly desire the spiritual gifts, especially that you may prophesy.


For you may give thanks well enough, but the other man is not edified.
