the oracle of him who hears the words of God, and knows the knowledge of the Most High, who sees the vision of the Almighty, falling down, but having his eyes uncovered:


“He who hears you hears me, and he who rejects you rejects me, and he who rejects me rejects him who sent me.”


For by the grace given to me I bid every one among you not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think, but to think with sober judgment, each according to the measure of faith which God has assigned him.


Let two or three prophets speak, and let the others weigh what is said.


What! Did the word of God originate with you, or are you the only ones it has reached?


If any one does not recognize this, he is not recognized.


The spiritual man judges all things, but is himself to be judged by no one.


But I, brethren, could not address you as spiritual men, but as men of the flesh, as babes in Christ.


Now concerning the unmarried, I have no command of the Lord, but I give my opinion as one who by the Lord's mercy is trustworthy.


But in my judgment she is happier if she remains as she is. And I think that I have the Spirit of God.


If any one imagines that he knows something, he does not yet know as he ought to know.


Not that we venture to class or compare ourselves with some of those who commend themselves. But when they measure themselves by one another, and compare themselves with one another, they are without understanding.


Look at what is before your eyes. If any one is confident that he is Christ's, let him remind himself that as he is Christ's, so are we.


For if some one comes and preaches another Jesus than the one we preached, or if you receive a different spirit from the one you received, or if you accept a different gospel from the one you accepted, you submit to it readily enough.


For he who sows to his own flesh will from the flesh reap corruption; but he who sows to the Spirit will from the Spirit reap eternal life.


that you should remember the predictions of the holy prophets and the commandment of the Lord and Savior through your apostles.


We are of God. Whoever knows God listens to us, and he who is not of God does not listen to us. By this we know the spirit of truth and the spirit of error.


But you must remember, beloved, the predictions of the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ;
