Great is the Lord, much to be prais'd; his greatness search exceeds.


Because of all his mighty acts, with praise him magnify: O praise him, as he doth excel in glorious majesty.


Upon the Lord, who worthy is of praises, will I cry; And then shall I preserved be safe from mine enemy.


Great is the Lord, and greatly he is to be praised still, Within the city of our God, upon his holy hill.


Say unto God, How terrible in all thy works art thou! Through thy great pow'r thy foes to thee shall be constrain'd to bow.


Come, and the works that God hath wrought with admiration see: In's working to the sons of men most terrible is he.


Thou, Lord, ev'n thou art he that should be fear'd; and who is he That may stand up before thy sight, if once thou angry be?


Because thou art exceeding great, and works by thee are done Which are to be admir'd; and thou art God thyself alone.


Great fear in meeting of the saints is due unto the Lord; And he of all about him should with rev'rence be ador'd.


For God, a great God, and great King, above all gods he is.
