He thus hath said within his heart, The Lord hath quite forgot; He hides his countenance, and he for ever sees it not.


But let them all before the Lord appear continually, That he may wholly from the earth cut off their memory.


Who can his errors understand? O cleanse thou me within


Because I silence kept, while thou these things hast wrought; That I was altogether like thyself, hath been thy thought; Yet I will thee reprove, and set before thine eyes, In order ranked, thy misdeeds and thine iniquities.


Burnt up it is with flaming fire, it also is cut down: They utterly are perished, when as thy face doth frown.
