The firm foundation of the earth of old time thou hast laid; The heavens also are the work which thine own hands have made.


Who of his chambers doth the beams within the waters lay; Who doth the clouds his chariot make, on wings of wind make way.


And he upon a cherub rode, and thereon he did fly; Yea, on the swift wings of the wind his flight was from on high.


The heathen rag'd tumultuously, the kingdoms moved were: The Lord God uttered his voice, the earth did melt for fear.


All lands to God in joyful sounds, aloft your voices raise.


Sing forth the honour of his name, and glorious make his praise.


To God sing, to his name sing praise; extol him with your voice, That rides on heav'n, by his name Jah, before his face rejoice.


Thy throne is fix'd of old, and thou from everlasting art.
