Who doth redeem thy life, that thou to death may'st not go down; Who thee with loving-kindness doth and tender mercies crown:


He from his chambers watereth the hills, when they are dry'd: With fruit and increase of thy works the earth is satisfy'd.


Who of his chambers doth the beams within the waters lay; Who doth the clouds his chariot make, on wings of wind make way.


The whole paths of the Lord are truth and mercy sure, To those that do his cov'nant keep, and testimonies pure.


They with the fatness of thy house shall be well satisfy'd; From rivers of thy pleasures thou wilt drink to them provide.


For, Lord, unto the righteous man thou wilt thy blessing yield: With favour thou wilt compass him about, as with a shield.


Thy congregation then did make their habitation there: Of thine own goodness for the poor, O God, thou didst prepare.
