For, lo, the wicked bend their bow, their shafts on string they fit, That those who upright are in heart they privily may hit.


The Lord shall hear, and them afflict, of old who hath abode: Because they never changes have, therefore they fear not God.


Cast thou thy burden on the Lord, and he shall thee sustain; Yea, he shall cause the righteous man unmoved to remain.


Be thou exalted very high above the heav'ns, O God; Let thou thy glory be advanc'd o'er all the earth abroad.
